Slayers - Lina, Gourry, Amelia (26)
In all these years of collecting cels I've never had one of Lina casting a spell. This one was on Mandarake and looked to be in pretty decent shape, and was inexpensive, too! Well, it was in great shape (aside from a little line fading around the sword hilt). But it took darn near FOREVER to find out for sure. First, there was the extra layer of acetate on top of the thing for no apparent reason other than to trap dust and moisture securely against the other three. Then there were the fourteen rolls of tape (and their resultant sticky residue) in various positions outside, inside and between the layers, as well as the four accompanying sketches. Finally, the thing is just plain big, and was a bear to scan. However, once the cel was cleaned, reassembled and scanned it was a pretty great find!
